ATTIRE 2-4 years ~ Any color leotard, pink tights or white anklet socks, pink ballet slippers. Skirts, dance dresses and tutus may be worn. Black tap shoes are required for all tap classes. All YPAS Levels ~ Hair should be worn in a neat bun or secured in a snood. No skirts are permitted in class. Pre-Primary Level ~ Eurotard, pink, short or long sleeved leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, black tap shoes. Primary Level ~ Eurotard, lavender, short or long sleeved leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers. Level I ~ Eurotard, light blue, short or long sleeved leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers. Level II & III ~ Eurotard, navy blue, short or long sleeved leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers. Tap/Jazz ~ Any color leotard, black jazz pants, black jazz shoes, black tap shoes Make-Up Classes ~ Missed classes may be made up on a space available basis during the current session, but may not be carried over. Up to 2 classes may be scheduled for make-up per session. Make-up classes are not available during Parent Observation Week. ALL MAKE-UPS MUST BE ARRANGED 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE THROUGH OUR OFFICE. Parent Observation Week ~ There will be a demonstration of each class at the end of every session for parents to observe. Recital ~ At the end of the school year, the Youth Performing Arts School will hold a spring performance. All YPAS students are invited to take part. Information will be distributed in January. Observing Classes / Photography ~ All classes are drop-off, except for First Steps (Mommy and Me) classes. In all locations, parents may observe through our viewing windows. VIDEO AND STILL PHOTOGRAPHY ARE PERMITTED ONLY DURING PARENT OBSERVATION WEEK. Snow Closings ~ Ballet des Enfants follows public school closings for the community in which classes are held. If there is a late opening, Ballet des Enfants classes will run on time. Make-up classes are available for any snow cancellation through the end of the current session (this is in addition to the 2 entitled make-up classes). There will be no refunds or credits for cancelled classes due to inclement weather. Refund Policy ~ Full refunds are available two weeks prior to the first day of class. There is a $75.00 cancellation fee applied to all refund requests during the first three weeks of the session, in addition to what is owed for classes passed to the date written request is received. On or after the first three weeks of the session, a class credit will be offered on the remaining balance at the time of request . All requests for refunds or class credit must be submitted to our office in writing. Image Release ~ Upon registration, any photographs taken on the premise of Ballet des Enfants /YPAS may be used for promotional use. | |||
